First of all, I'd like to welcome you to my blog. My intention's to make it a place for cherishing great memories of working with school children. Here you'll find some tips, projects done by my pupils, their essays and poems, video clips (I don't know if it's me, but my pupils really enjoy singing), and things that can be interesting and useful.

At the Zoo! (kids singing)
Here's another cute song about animals from our course books, sung by my class IV6 in April 2012.
The lyrics are as follows:
We're at the zoo,
Me and you,
The lions are here
And the zebras too!
The hippos are happy,
The crocodiles are sad,
And look at the monkey!
It's smiling at Dad!
We're at the zoo,
Me and you,
The elephants and the tigers, too!
The dolphins are clever,
But they don't go to school,
They have all their lessons
Right here in the pool!

UK Day
On Thursday, 5 April, 10 of my Year 4 pupils and I visited Đura Jakšić Primary School and joined the celebration of UK Day there.
We visited the Museum of important Britons, listened to live music in the pub, saw the Queen at her palace, helped ourselves to some biscuits and tea, met some knights and 'took' a double decker ride.
