First of all, I'd like to welcome you to my blog. My intention's to make it a place for cherishing great memories of working with school children. Here you'll find some tips, projects done by my pupils, their essays and poems, video clips (I don't know if it's me, but my pupils really enjoy singing), and things that can be interesting and useful.

Rocking horses
My youngest pupils adore our lessons in the media room.
We started this one with the guessing game, using the toy flashcards. Then we talked about their favourite toys. We named all kinds of toys and talked about the material they are made of.
After that we watched a short documentary about a toy factory and saw how wooden rocking horses are made (the mane, tail, reins and the saddle are added to the wooden horse). Then, I asked my pupils to draw a rocking horse and colour it.
