To mark School Day of Non-violence and Peace, my Class 2 pupils shared their wishes to all the children of the world in their video messages.

First of all, I'd like to welcome you to my blog. My intention's to make it a place for cherishing great memories of working with school children. Here you'll find some tips, projects done by my pupils, their essays and poems, video clips (I don't know if it's me, but my pupils really enjoy singing), and things that can be interesting and useful.

My older pupils have recently done a research on influential people in American history, and created a presentation with interesting facts. I've reminded them not to copy from the internet, use free photos and add the source. They could use any of the free templates on Canva or Genial.ly (e.g. Bio Infographic).

Planet Earth is the home to millions of plants and animals, but there are some that live only in the USA.
Do research, find which they are and choose 1 or 2 to create a fact file about them. Include:
- where it lives,
- what it looks like (face, body, colour,...),
- what it eats (for animals),
- what it can do (for animals);
- something interesting about the plant / animal.
Try to use your own words, free photos and don't forget to add the source.

My Class 1 pupils shared their words of kindness with their friends from Slovenia and Ukraine, and learned the same words in Slovenian, Ukrainian and Russian.
As agreed, one of the tasks in our eTwinventors are on the stage project was to choose two letters and draw a few inventions beginning with those letters.
My Class 4 pupils chose H and T and drew different inventions by using the Witeboard app which we also shared with our project partners:
In mixed, international teams, my Class 4 pupils took part in different activities to promote famous inventors and their discoveries. They searched for information on various inventors, such as the Wright brothers, Alexander Graham Bell, Marie Curie, Mihajlo Pupin and Nikola Tesla, drew their inventions, recorded their voice, and did other interesting tasks.
All the works were collected in the e-book started by the eTwinventors project-founder.
We've received so many creative cards with warm wishes from our eTwinning friends (pupils and their teachers Burcu from Turkey, Silvia, Beatriz and Victor from Spain, Małgorzata from Poland, Tania, Amparo, Luz, Mercedes and Cristina from Spain, Naira from Armenia and Marta Maria from Spain, Kristina from Slovenia, Klaudia from Poland, Maria Dolores from Spain, Edyta from Poland, Vita from Lithuania, Burçin from Turkey and Joanna from Scotland) that they made our days before and after our winter holiday more fun.

Imagine you could be somebody else (a prince/princess, a wizard, a chef, a president...). What would you be like? What would you do?
Choose 5 people, or things, and share your dreams.
I sometimes imagine that I am a scientist. I do some experiments and help other people. Also I make new medicine and heal people from diseases. I would wear a white coat, protective glasses and a mask.

If I were an animal, I would be a cat, because they are calm(even though some of them have an endless amount of energy), friendly and cute, I love them.
If I were a color, I would be yellow, because of my personality which seems to remind people of that color. I am kind, outgoing and cheerful.
If I were a book character, I would be a mysterious side character, about who we eventually find out a bit more and turns out to be good.
If I were a wizard, I'd go to Hogwarts, most likely be sorted in Hufflepuff and probably be friends with the Weasley twins, but also help the golden trio with beating Voldemort.
If I were a creature from a fairy tale, I'd like to be a fairy with white, shiny, long, straight hair and freckles. I would wear a white dress and have shiny light green wings
