Overseas Meetup

It was a lot of fun for my Class 5 pupils to meet their peers from Los Angeles.

First, groups of pupils introduced them to our country, town, school and class, and then, everyone introduced themselves and shared their likes.

Telling the time

A lot of my younger pupils have got smart watches and can say what the time is, but the problem starts when I ask them to read the time on an analogue clock. That's why it's always a good idea to ask them to use a piece of cardboard and design a clock with hands.

We've started with the easy steps, putting the big hand on the 12 and the small hand on one of the numbers, and saying o'clock.

Good wishes

Things come to those who wait! The cards from our friends in the Bronx, New York City, with their good wishes, have finally arrived, so I reminded my Class 2 pupils how far they had to travel to reach us.
