One of the activities in our Pippi project was to organise a tea party. To make it both creative and fun I asked one group of Class 1.2 students to bring toilet paper rolls and colourful paper. They got very serious and made tea cups in no time.
First of all, I'd like to welcome you to my blog. My intention's to make it a place for cherishing great memories of working with school children. Here you'll find some tips, projects done by my pupils, their essays and poems, video clips (I don't know if it's me, but my pupils really enjoy singing), and things that can be interesting and useful.

My Favourite Day
Which is your favourite day of the week?
What time do you get up?
What do you do in the morning / afternoon / evening?
What time do you go to bed?
Why is it your favourite day?
You can use the following game as the example.
It is my favourite day because I do many activities. I love Saturdays!
I like Friday because the weekend starts then.
Sunday is my favorite day because I am free and do what I want.
My favorite day is Friday just because the weekend follows right after. Then I have time to do what I want.
Saturday is my favourite day of the week because I have the most time for myself. 😀
In the evening I watch a film with my family. I also chat with my friends. I go to bed around eleven.
Sunday is my favourite day because I can get up late and I can meet my friends.
I love Saturday because I have no obligations and because I am relaxed.
Usually on Saturdays I sleep a little longer. Later I play games, and then I arrange with my friends to go to football or someone comes to me to sleep over. Sometimes when my friends can't come, I play with my cousin. I play Sony or I play some good movie and I make sure to take snacks and relax completely. That's why I love Saturday.
Sunday is my favourite day because I don't go to school and I am with my family.
I get up and have breakfast and a cup of tea. In the afternoon, I have lunch with some juice. After lunch I go to the pet shop, park, supermarket... At 4 o'clock I go home and watch Netflix. In the evening I have dinner. I go to bed at half past 10.
Saturday is my favourite day because I have enough time to do everything I like.
