Unique World

Encouraged by other eTwinventors, my Class 4 pupils thought about the future life and world.

They discussed different future problems, such as water shortage, pollution, loss of jobs or hunger, and offered solutions. For the absence of green areas, a group of pupils designed a poster with a message to plant more trees. For the noise pollution, Miki suggested installing more noise barriers, controlling the traffic, or just closing the windows. Nikola started another discussion on air pollution because of too many vehicles in the streets, and Sara from Romania suggested creating vertical green areas in high-traffic cities.

Later, they put their creativity and imagination into action and designed a future school. Luka and Nikola used the Witeboard app to draw it.

Easter 2022

My younger pupils enjoyed creating Easter cards for their friends around Europe.

My older pupils shared their favourite Easter traditions in posters. You can see Lara's poster here.

They also took part in various surveys with our eTwinning friends, and played quizzes.

The Tale of Peter Rabbit

I've recently organised a reading session with my Class 4 pupils. Two pupils read a well-known tale by Beatrix Potter to their friends and later we played a board game in teams.

It was a lot of fun, although a bit too loud because of all the cheering.

My Family

When we compare one thing with another of a different kind, e.g. a person with an animal, we use a simile.

Think of the members of your family and try to use a simile for each of them to write a poem. Remember to find the words that rhyme or sound similar.

e.g. My mum is as busy as a bee.
She always looks after my sister and me...

Sometimes my mum is as stubborn as a mule,
Every day she makes a new rule.
My dad is as strong as an ox,
He has holes in his socks.
In the morning I am as grumpy as a bear,
Because I don't know what to wear.

The Fox and the Stork

Nevena, I3
Class 1 pupils and I have recently read the story from Greece about the fox and the stork. Later, we discussed the good and bad sides of these neighbours' behaviour and concluded that we should not think about ourselves, but the others, too.

A Very Hungry Caterpillar

My youngest pupils enjoyed listening to the famous story by Eric Carle and making the food the caterpillar ate.
