My Favourite Season

Think about your favourite season. Describe it in 50-60 words,

Organise your writing in paragraphs. These questions might help you:

Paragraph 1: Which is your favourite season? Why do you like it?
Paragraph 2: What's the weather like then? How does nature look in this season? What do you usually wear?
Paragraph 3: What do you like doing then? What's your favourite activity?
Paragraph 4: Where do you usually go? Who with?
Paragraph 5: Why is this season the best for you? How does it make you feel?

My favourite season is summer. It is my favourite because of the warm and sunny weather.
I enjoy wearing light, casual clothes and flip-flops.
When I’m bored, I go rollerblading or swimming in the pool with my friends.
During the summer holidays, I don’t have school, so I can relax and sleep longer. Sometimes I travel with my family. My birthday is in summer, so I can celebrate it outside in sunny weather, playing with my friends.
Summer makes me feel happy, free, and full of energy.

Milijana Stankov, V3

My favourite season is summer.
In summer, it’s hot and sunny. I love going to the swimming pool with my friends. On hot days, I like eating ice cream.
In summer, I usually wear T-shirts, shorts, and flip-flops. I love spending time outside with my friends. In summer, my family and I usually go on holiday.
I love summer because I feel relaxed and happy.

Nevena Mirkov, V3

My favourite season is spring. I love spring because of the colours.
In spring, I can wear T-shirts, tights, and Crocs without a jacket.
I love when it’s a sunny day, so I can play on the playground all day and eat ice cream. When it’s dark, my friends and I play hide and seek.
I really like riding my bike or walking everywhere.
My birthday is in spring, so I usually celebrate it outside.
Spring is my favourite season because of the sun and flowers.

Sara Menda, V2

Dunja Dragan, V2

My favourite season of the year is summer.
In summer, I can go everywhere I want because there is no school. I can wear my T-shirts, shorts, and flip-flops. Outside, it is very sunny and hot. I can ride my bike, go on picnics, spend time with my friends, and go to the beach. At the beach, I eat ice cream and watermelon or drink lemonade and cold juice. My favourite activity is swimming.
Every time I think about summer, I start jumping and screaming because I am so excited.
I love summer so much because I am always with my friends, and it makes me happy.

A Dream Job

Think about what you would like to do in the future. Write about your dream job in 80-100 words.

Organise your writing into 4 paragraphs:
Paragraph 1: What is the perfect job for you?
Paragraph 2: What qualifications do you need? What kind of person do you need to be to do this job well? What are its good sides?
Paragraph 3: What are its bad sides? Is there anything about this job that you would not enjoy?
Paragraph 4: Why would you like to do that job? How would it make you feel?

My dream job is to become an English teacher. To make things clear, I will be an English teacher because I’m good at it and I love it so much that I can’t go a day without English.
There are some pros and cons to this job, so let’s dig in. This job is perfect. I love working in a building and not outside when it’s freezing cold or hot. You have a good salary, and if you enjoy what you’re doing, you’ll be happy no matter what. This job can have its rough sides, though. Sometimes kids can be really disrespectful and rude, but there will also be many good students. Another bad thing is that you work nine to ten hours a day because you have to teach classes from first to eighth grade, which is a lot.
Sometimes you’ll have to come to school twice a day because of shifts for younger and older kids. About creativity in this job — I’m not sure if it’s very creative, maybe if you teach first graders and make Mother’s Day or Christmas cards with them. So, in some ways, we can say it is a bit creative.
Anyway, I will genuinely be doing this job in twenty years, and I can guarantee that I’ll be happy if I teach someone’s kids from this class. This job makes me happy and peaceful. I love English so much, and even though I sometimes don’t like something about it, I never give up. It’s my goal for life.

Anđela, VI1

Teaching has always seemed fun if you ask me. That’s why I’ve always wanted to be a teacher.
In kindergarten, I used to teach my friends how to write letters and numbers. When I grew up a bit, I would always help my cousin with her homework, and she would joke that I was her personal free tutor. I was very proud of myself when she told me that. Not only do I like teaching, but I also like kids. I cannot stand babies and toddlers, and especially teenagers. Babies are annoying, teenagers are mean — that’s why, maybe, I could be an elementary school teacher.
It won’t be easy because I don’t want to be the strict, grumpy “everything‑hater” teacher, but I also don’t want my students to disrespect me. A really hard thing for me would be saying goodbye to my students.
Teaching has always been my desire, so I really hope that one day I’m going to become a teacher.

Teja, VI3

Ever since I was a child, my dream job has been to become a dentist.
To be successful, a dentist needs to be patient, have a steady hand, and great communication skills to calm nervous patients.
The best part of being a dentist is helping people. I love that I can fix someone’s toothache and make them feel better instantly. I can also teach children how to brush their teeth correctly so they stay healthy. Another good side is that dentists earn a lot of money, which is great for the future. There are bad sides too, such as long hours standing up. Many people are afraid of dentists — sometimes they cry or even scream.
Overall, I feel excited about this career because making people smile is truly rewarding.

Jovana, VI2
My dream job is to become an actor.
Actors get to play different characters and tell important stories. Performing in front of an audience can bring happiness, pride, and confidence. It’s a great way to express emotions. However, being an actor is not easy. You have to have confidence, work hard, and have strong self‑belief to succeed. If you’re a good actor, you will get famous in no time. Actors need creativity, good communication skills, and great memory for remembering lines.
If you truly want to be an actor, you first need to believe in yourself — then everything else will follow.

Nina, VI2

My dream job is to be an actress.
It all started when my mom made me watch The Lord of the Rings with her, and after that, I wanted to be in cool movies like that.
The good sides of being an actress are that you get paid well and make friends.
The bad sides are having a bad director or not getting paid well.
My favorite actress is Candice King. Her most famous role is Caroline Forbes from The Vampire Diaries. She’s one of my inspirations, and I’d love to meet her.
I really hope I achieve my dream because I think it’s wonderful.

Anastasija, VI3

My dream job is to be a flight attendant.
To do this job, you need good qualities. You must be sociable, friendly, and patient with people, and creative to solve problems.
The good sides of this job are that you earn a lot of money, travel often, and fly in the air. If there is a problem, you are responsible for solving it.
But the bad sides are that you can get a backache from lifting passengers’ luggage, and you have to wake up very early and work long hours.
This job is my favourite because of the feeling of adventure.
I think this is the perfect job for me because I love traveling and meeting new people.

Dunja Barna, VI3

My dream job is to be a professional volleyball player.
Being a professional volleyball player has some good sides. A few of them are socializing, traveling often, always being active, and being paid well. However, being a professional volleyball player also has some bad sides. These include getting hurt easily and having to spend a lot of time practicing. To be a professional volleyball player, you have to be dedicated and disciplined.
I would like to be a professional volleyball player because it’s really exciting.

Vukan, VI2

My dream job is to be a vet. I have always wanted to help animals when they are sick.
There are many good sides to this job. The best part is helping animals and seeing them happy again. It is also very interesting to learn how different animals live.
However, there are bad sides too. This job can be very sad when an animal is seriously sick. Also, vets often have to work long hours, even at night.
I know I have to study hard, but I want to help animals in the future.

Emilija, VI2

My dream job is to become a successful doctor. I have always wanted to help people and make their lives better.
In the future, I would like to work in a big hospital and take care of patients.
I think being a doctor is a responsible and important job because you can save lives.
It is not easy because you need to study a lot and work very hard, but I am ready for that challenge. I also want to travel and learn new things in medicine.
My dream job is not only about money, but about helping others and making a difference.

Tara, VI2

Since I was little, I have always dreamed of becoming a doctor.
Helping people recover from illness makes me feel proud and full of joy. To be successful in this job, a person needs to be sociable and friendly, so patients feel safe. Being patient and creative is also important when solving medical problems. There are many great things about being a doctor, such as a good salary and an exciting daily life where you save lives. However, it is a hard job too. Doctors often work long hours, which can lead to exhaustion and back pain.
Even if it’s a hard job, I’m ready to be a doctor.

Dunja Bucalo, VI3

My dream job is to become a doctor.
Since I was a child, I’ve wanted to help people. To become a doctor, I will have to study a lot and be responsible. In the future, I will be kind and patient with my patients. If I become a doctor, it will make my parents proud.
The good things about this job are how much I get paid and seeing people on the streets whom I saved.
The bad things are the long hours and the tiredness from working late at night.

Marija, VI3

When I think about my future, I picture myself at a large desk surrounded by pens, sketches, and models. My dream job is to be an architect.
Being an architect is not easy — not because of the amount of work, but because of the years of studying and learning math and physics. I chose this job because I want to design beautiful homes for lovely families so they can feel safe and happy. Of course, I have a plan and let me explain it. First, I will finish primary school, then go to an architecture high school, and finally college. At my final exam in college, I’ll start praying to get my dream job.
Maybe I won’t get my dream job, but I will choose that path without hesitation.

Nikola, VI3

My dream job is to become a lawyer.
I have always wanted to help people and fight for justice.
A lawyer defends people and represents them in court.
This job is very responsible and requires a lot of knowledge, effort, and patience.
I want to be successful, honest, and brave in my work.
I would like to make society fairer and act justly every day.

Online Games

Imagine you are a game designer. Describe your online game. The following questions might help you.

  • What's the name of your online game? What type of game is it?
  • Where can you play it? How do you start the game? How many levels or programmes are there? What happens at each? How do you stop playing?
  • What is the story about? Who are the characters? What are they like? What do they do?
  • What is the aim of the game?
  • What ages is it for?
  • Why is this game different? Why should people play it?
  • Where can you find the game? How much does it cost?

My game is called World of Legends. The main character is Amir. The game is based on obbies, but here you need to move fast. When you win, you get trophies, and if you have enough trophies, your name appears on the leaderboard.

This game can be installed from the App Store for free. With the points you earn while playing, you can buy skins for Amir. In the game, you race for trophies and coins. You can buy bundles with real money, which are not expensive, and every day you get free coins or common skins.

The game is 500 MB and available on every device. I would play this game with friends and have fun online.

A Star's Life

Who’s your favourite star? It can be a sportsperson, actor/actress, singer, writer, or activist – but remember, they must be alive. Your task is to write 60–80 words, organised into paragraphs.

Here are some guiding questions to help you:

P1 (Introduction): What’s his/her name? Has he/she got a nickname? What does he/she do for a living?
P2 (Background): When and where was he/she born? Where does he/she live? Who does he/she live with?
P3 (Daily Routine): What does he/she do every day? What is his/her daily routine like?
P4 (Free Time): What does he/she like doing in free time? Who does he/she spend time with?
P5 (Conclusion): Why is this famous person special? Why do you admire him/her?

My favourite star is Megan Meiyok Skiendiel.
Megan is in a global group of six members called Katseye. She was born on 10th February 2006. Her bandmates are Sophia, Daniela, Lara, Yoonchae and Manon.
They usually wake up at seven in the morning and have breakfast at eight o’clock. After that, they have vocal and dance practices till ten o’clock. After practice, Yoonchea helps Megan understand some Korean words till eleven. They have lunch at two and finish at three. In the evening they have dinner, prepare for the next day and sleep. In her free time, Megan streams live with her bandmates.
I chose Megan because she is my favourite in the group.

Ana, V3

My favourite star is Ognjen Ugrešić. He is a football player and plays for Club Partizan. His nickname is Ogi or Ogisha.
He was born on 15th July in Kikinda.
Ogi gets up at 7 and has breakfast at 8 a.m. He goes to football practice at 10:30 and then to the gym. After that, he takes a shower and has lunch. In the evening, he goes out with friends, has dinner at 8, and goes to bed at 9.
Ognjen is my idol, and I would like to be like him.

My Favourite Day

Everyone has a favourite day. Maybe it's Saturday because you can play all day, or Wednesday because you enjoy a special lesson at school.

Write about your favourite day of the week in 60 - 80 words. To make it easier, first draw a timeline of your day (morning → afternoon → evening → night). Then use the questions below to help you organise your writing into clear paragraphs:

P1: Which is your favourite day of the week? (e.g. My favourite day of the week is Friday because I feel excited for the weekend.)
P2: What time do you usually get up? What do you do first? Do you make your bed? Who makes your breakfast? What do you usually eat? What do you do after breakfast?
P3: What time do you usually have lunch? What's your favourite lunch? Do you eat with your family? What do you do in the afternoon? Do you play with your friends/pets, go to the park, walk your dog, or go shopping?
P4: What do you do in the evening? Do you watch TV, read books/comics, listen to music, or play games? What time do you usually have dinner? Who prepares it? Do you help? What do you usually eat? What time do you go to bed? What do you do before you go to bed?
P5: Why is this day special?
- If it's a schoolday, how many lessons have you got then? Can you name them? Which subjects do you enjoy most? Do you like morning or afternoon shifts better? Why? What do you do during break time? What after-school activities do you join?

You can use the following game as the example.

My favourite day is Saturday.
I wake up at nine o’clock and have breakfast at ten or eleven. Then I play video games until twelve.
I have lunch and go outside to ride my rollerblades and play with my cats. Sometimes I go to the store. At six o’clock I play video games again.
I go to sleep at midnight.
I like Saturday because I can wake up and go to bed whenever I want.

Petra, V2

My favourite day is Saturday because I can sleep longer and relax or play with my friends all day.
I wake up at nine o’clock in the morning and watch birds at the window. After that, I take a shower, brush my teeth, and get dressed. Around ten o’clock, I have breakfast with my parents and brother. I usually eat cereal or sandwiches.
At twelve, I hang out with my best friend or visit my aunt. When I come back home, I have lunch—rice and chicken, my favourite meal. After lunch, I do my homework or chat online with my friends from Belgrade.
In the evening, I spend time with my parents or read a book. At ten or eleven, I go to sleep.
Saturday is my favourite day because I can relax and don’t have to worry about school.

Entertainment

Everyone has a story they love—whether it’s a magical film or an exciting TV series. Now it’s your turn to share your favourite! Choose one and write a short blog post (80–100 words).

Organise your writing into 4 short paragraphs. Use the questions below to guide you:

Write About a Film

Paragraph 1: What is the title of the film? What type of film is it (comedy, fantasy, adventure…)? Who directed it? Who are the main actors?
Paragraph 2: What is the film about? Who are the main characters? What do they do? Who is your favourite character? Why? (Don’t reveal the ending!)
Paragraph 3: What did you think about the film? How were the story, actors, special effects, soundtrack, costumes, or ending?
Paragraph 4: Who should watch this film? Why?

Write About a TV Series

Paragraph 1: What is the title of the show? What type of programme is it (comedy, drama, reality, documentary…)? Who created it or presents it? Who are the main actors or characters?
Paragraph 2: What is the show about? Who are the main characters or people? What do they do? Who is your favourite character or presenter? Why? (Don’t reveal the ending of episodes!)
Paragraph 3: What do you think about the show? How are the storylines, acting, humour, special effects, music, or costumes?
Paragraph 4: Who should watch this programme? Why?

My favourite film is Avatar.
Avatar is a science fiction movie. The two main actors are Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana. Sam plays Jake Sully, and Zoe plays Neytiri. The leader of the Sky People hunts Jake and his family and starts a war between the Sky People and the Na’vi. Neytiri is the daughter of the leader of the Omaticaya clan. Jake was one of the Sky People, but he fell in love with Neytiri and became one of the Na’vi. They have three children and adopted one more.
The first part of Avatar was made in 2009.
Avatar is my favourite movie because it has battles, forests, the sea, and many exciting scenes. I think everyone should watch Avatar.

Marija, VI2

My favourite film is A Silent Voice.
It is a romantic animated movie about two teenagers who don’t realize they have feelings for each other. Shoya Ishida was a boy who used to bully children with problems they couldn’t fix. Shouko Nishimiya was deaf, and her classmates had to write to her in a notebook. Shoya bullied her, and then she moved to another school. Later, he lost his friends and started to hate himself. After a long time, he met Nishimiya again and saw that she had changed, but she also hated herself. Shoya invited her to watch fireworks with him, and she came. After some time, she said she needed to study and went home, but she tried to take her own life. Shoya saw her and saved her. Then they both realized how they felt.
I love this movie because of its story and message that no one deserves hate from others or from themselves.

Milana, VI2

My favourite film is Home Alone.
Home Alone is a very interesting film. It is a funny Christmas movie. In the movie, there is a little boy named Kevin and two bad guys named Marv and Harry. Kevin is an eight-year-old kid, and his family is important to him. His mother tries to go home because the family forgot him.
This film teaches children how to protect their house like Kevin. He uses tricks, and at the end, Kevin calls the police, and his family comes home.
This film is my favourite because it’s a Christmas movie, and I watch it every year with my family.

Mila, VI2

My favourite TV series is Dexter.
It is an action series that is also violent, with many murders. The main characters are Dexter and Debra Morgan.
Dexter is a police officer but also a secret killer. One night, while he is at the dock in one of the containers murdering someone, he is discovered by his sister Debra, who is also a police officer. She keeps his secret, but in the end, he gets caught.
My favourite part was the acting and the soundtrack.
The show teaches not to be manipulated by others.

Vukašin, VI3

My favourite TV series is Radio Mileva.
Mileva loves to know everything around her. She is my favourite character in the series.
My second favourite is Cveta, her best friend. They always make business ideas, but they always fail.
The third and best character is Dača. He is cool, but Mileva is even cooler.
I like Mileva more because she goes around her apartment, listens to conversations, and later calls her friend Cveta to a café where Dača is the boss.
The café is called “They.” There, they talk about business ideas and things Mileva heard around the street.
Mileva has a daughter who is a Serbian teacher and a grandchild whom she helps with homework in her mother’s class. She always notices the teacher but never gets in trouble. That’s why everyone needs a grandma like Mileva.

Summer Plans

What are your plans for the summer holidays?

  • Where are you going to go? Who are you going to go with? How are you going to travel?
  • Where are you going to stay? How long are you going to stay there?
  • What are you going to do there? What are you going to see?

For the holidays I am going to go to the seaside with my parents, godparents and friends. We are going to travel by car. We are going to stay at a hotel. We are going to stay there for 10 days. The hotel has an aqua park where we are going to have fun all day. I hope to see a starfish this summer.

Petra Gačka, IV2

From the 3rd to the 14th of July I am going to Sarta in Greece. I am going with my family: mum, dad, sister, and brother. We are going to travel by car. We are going to stay at a hotel.
We are going to stop by Lake Ohrid along the way.

My Dream Job (narrative essays)

Write an essay about your dream job. The following questions might help you:
- What's the perfect job for you?
- Why do you want to do that job?
- What qualifications do you need?
- What do you have to do every day if you have that job?
- Is there anything about that job you wouldn't enjoy?

Many years ago, when I was a small child, I admired adventures. I think that since I breathed in for the first time and felt the ground underneath my feet, when for the very first time I looked at the night sky and its many eyes, I wished to live the life of an adventurer. To stride the deserts, to explore the jungles, to wander through the lost cities and to dive into the deep darkness of the ocean I find extremely exciting. My wish is to be an adventurer.

To be an adventurer you need some qualities. You need to know how to get out of some risky and dangerous situations. You need to know how to survive. It would also be recommended to know how to sail, because a good sailor is a good adventurer. What is more, the most epic adventures are found on the sea.

The best thing about going on an adventure is that it is really exciting, filled with thrill and danger. And, I know it is a bit cliche, but danger is my middle name. Another good thing about adventure is the sights you see, the beautiful forests, and the castles... so many wonderful castles that have numerous ancient tales about knights and dragons.

But like every human has his disadvantages, going on adventures has its bad sides too. In all the thrill and danger, many have lost their lives.

And so 'through the darkness and night a beam of light appears and the Dovahkiin comes,' as the legend says. One day, a man shall appear and repel all the evil, he'll kill all the foes of his land. But more importantly, he will win, he will conquer all the obstacles and get to his goal. And, by following his steps, I will become an adventurer for sure.

Rastko Zamurović, VIII2, 3 May 2012

I have always dreamed about being a pilot. It is a job that I have liked since I was a kid. The aeroplanes are very important in the modern world. I find them interesting and I appreciate the people who fly them because it is a very serious and responsible job.

The good sides of the job are a unique experience and a thought that you are doing something important for all the people on the plane.

The bad side is the huge responsibility for everyone on the plane.

For this job it is very important to be in a good shape. You should also be perfectly healthy and have a considerable responsibility for all the people on the plane. You really need to be a mentally stable person.

Not all the people can be pilots. As I get to know about this job more, I'm starting to believe that you have to be born for it. I hope that one day my dream will come true and I will be flying in the sky just like I have always dreamed. I also love this job because I love the blue colour of the sky.

Dejan Škorić, VIII1, 3 May 2012

As a little kid I always liked computers and wanted to work at them. I wanted to be a programmer.

Lots of members of our generation would like to have this fun job.

As far as skills are concerned, you only need the basic programming stuff. You need to know which programme you should use, what codes you should type and at last you need to have a good computer for it.

The good qualities include your ability to make all kinds of games you can enjoy. You can also make programmes for a computer to do all the filing for you and much more.

For bad qualities, I can only say that you can damage your eyesight.

The reasons why you should do this job is mainly because it is a lot of fun and comfortable, and you can enjoy yourself each day you work.

Dejan Kovačević, VIII2, 3 May 2012

My dream job is to work in the army.

To be able to work in the army you need really good grades and physical abilities.

There are good and bad sides of army life. Some of the good sides are when you learn to defend yourself, to swim, to drive a truck, or to shoot from all weapons. It is real fun when you can go to lots of places like mountains or a desert.

But one of the scariest things in the army is when you jump from an aeroplane with a parachute. However, when you overcome your fear, it becomes really exciting. On the other hand, we are always on some missions or trips. The payment is good, though.

However, we spend really little time with our families.

I have chosen this job because I love the army, weapons and of course jumping with a parachute. One of the beautiful things is when you march with your friends.

I would recommend everybody to join the army, because, after all, you will meet friends for the whole life and they will help you with everything.

Aleksa Rosić, VIII2

Since I was little I've liked to travel, meet new people and talk. I guess that is why I have always wanted to be a tour guide.

For this job you need to know at least one foreign language. English is especially required. You need to be talkative, which also means that you have to be very sociable. You need to know geography and what is very important the parts of history, which I find very interesting. You need to know how to do simple tasks on the computer and how to deal with lists and papers, because this job also includes organising.

What I like most about this job is the fact that it has more good than bad sides. The job includes travelling, seeing all the beauty in the nature, in magnificent things all around the world. It brings excitement and joy. Being in contact with people is something I find great. Making new friends can always take you somewhere else.

The bad side of this job is responsibility, I think. You are responsible for all the people you guide, for the papers and good holiday time.
My mum has always said that I was born for this job. As I am growing older I can see that she is right. One day, I would like to go. see all the places on the Earth and say that I have been everywhere! I want to learn new languages, make more friends and enjoy my life with having the job as a tour guide.

Teodora Stankov, VIII1

My dream job is to be a fashion designer.

Designers need to be very creative and to show a developed skill in aesthetic assessment. Also, it is very important to have a sense of technical problems and space. They have to be precise in their work. It is desirable to draw well, to love collaboration with other people and to be communicative and willing to work long hours and occasionally forgo the rest.

The advantages of this job are: travelling around the world, meeting other designers, etc.

One of the disadvantages is not having the time for the others and yourself. This job requires a lot of hard work.

Why, then, is this job my dream job? Well, I adore fashion, love creating things and I have enough imagination for this job. Simply, this is something that I love and something I could do all my life.

Nevena Grubišić, VIII1, 3 May 2012

Everyone has passion for something. Some have passion for sports, others for music, but very few of them for animals. My dream job is to become an animal cop, to work at The RSPCA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).

To become an RSPCA inspector you must be physically fit, including the ability to swim. You must be patient and hardworking in order not to make mistakes.

The advantage of this job is living for better tomorrow for animals and also hoping that one day humans and animals can live in harmony.

The disadvantage is that more than 50% of the animals brought to RSPCA shelter do not survive. We must remember that very few people like working with animals and that we are fighting for the animals’ safety and better living conditions. That is the reason why I would like to work at the RSPCA shelter.

Milica Marić, VIII2

I’m going to finish primary school soon and I have to make a decision what to do in the future. I don’t need a lot of time to decide about my future occupation. I’d like to be a pharmacist.

Skills of hands and fingers, fast counting and the love for chemistry are required. I have all those qualities. A pharmacist has to know all the drugs, their chemical reactions, their ingredients and how to use and keep them.

The advantage is that the job is clean, human and nice. You work in a lab, pharmacy and pharmacy shop.

Disadvantage is that you can ruin your health and to prevent this you must wear protective equipment.

I like this job because it is clean and I want to help kids and people to save their health.

Denis Nastovski, VIII2
I dream of becoming a physicist and working at CERN, the European nuclear research facility.

It is situated in Geneva, Switzerland. Only the most intelligent scientists in the world are hired. These are physicists, software engineers, mechanical engineers and other scientists. To get hired there, a person must be very smart, of course, and very hardworking.

In CERN I would do the things beyond anyone's imagination, discovering new particles, unrawelling the world's greatest mysteries and answering the biggest questions. Antimatter and tonnes of subatomic particles, for which electrons are as huge as a planet to us, were discovered there, theories proven.

They have the world's biggest particle accelerator LHC or the Large Hadron Collider, which can create particles like antimatter out of nothing. But, experimental physics and particle physics are very dangerous. The LHC can show us the birth of the Universe, create a new one out of nothing in the shape of two particles, matter and antimatter. Imagine what would happen if something went wrong!

The leading scientist there is Stephen Hawking, who has a new unifying theory of everything, the String theory, which unites Einstein's theory of relativity and quantum theory and which is based on twenty-six dimensions!

It is my dream job because there I would be able to build the future and answer the questions about the universe.

I would like to be a police officer.

A police officer should be in a good physical and mental condition. He should run fast, be strong and well-trained so he could do complex physical tasks. The tasks include chasing the villains or fighting them.

A police officer must also be fearless and skillful so he could be good in dangerous situations. He should also be very careful and not involve his emotions.

Police officers help the innocent people who get in trouble and do something good for the world.

Another reason why I would like to be a police officer is that I would have the power to bring the order and justice to this chaotic world. So, I truly hope that my dream will come true some day.

My Dream Holiday (essay)

If I could choose, I would like to spend a dream holiday with my friends at the seaside. I would also like to learn how to dive. It would definitely be some exotic beach in the Bahamas.

This archipelago consists of many exciting islands. They are situated in the Atlantic Ocean. The most exciting thing is that they have a tropical climate, wonderful sand beaches and an incredible sea flora and fauna. I would like to learn how to dive to be able to explore the underwater world.

After the long and exhausting diving tours I would have  to relax.  And, since the sun shines so bright in the Bahamas, I could not do anything but sunbathe and doze.

Local people are very friendly, especially the cafe owners who are keen on telling you all about the sights and the local customs. I have been told that all guests are welcome down there.

So far, I have not been on holiday with my friends. This would be my golden opportunity.

I imagine myself taking a tour along the islands, shopping and sightseeing. I would buy all those beautiful handmade souvenirs for me and my family. My friends and I would have an amazing time in the Bahamas.

This holiday is perfect for me because I want to spend time with my friends, to have a lot of fun and also to learn something very interesting.

My Dream Holiday (essay)

I like to travel. Every year I visit the seaside of Montenegro. My biggest wish is to see Durmitor.

The National Park Durmitor is located at the north-east of Montenegro. It includes the mass of Durmitor, the canyons of the Tara, Sušica and Draga rivers and the higher part of the canyon plateau Komarnica, covering the area of 39,000ha.

It was established in 1952 as a national park and was described twice in the World Heritage List, in 1977 the River Tara was described as a UNESCO reserve and in 1980 both the Tara and Durmitor were described as the world natural heritage.

A part of the National Park Durmitor is also the River Tara Canyon, 80km long, 1,300m deep, the second largest in the world, after the Grand Canyon in Colorado, USA.

A special feature of the landscape is the glacier lakes, called by the people "gorske oči" ('the eyes of the mountain'). The largest and the most beautiful one is Crno jezero (Black Lake).

Within the park, there is also a number of cultural monuments, from ancient times till present: fortresses, watchtowers, bridges and monasteries.

Tourism centre of the National Park is Žabljak, the highest town in the Balkans (1,450 metres above the sea level).

I am sure I will see this beautiful place one day.
