Our Animals

Class 1 revised the names of different animals and used playdough in different colours to make their favourite ones.

A Very Hungry Caterpillar

My youngest pupils enjoyed listening to the famous story by Eric Carle and making the food the caterpillar ate.

Amazing animals

My younger pupils just love making something with their hands and if they can use some modelling clay, their excitement has no end.

Since our topic was Wild animals, I asked them to make their favourite ones for the others to guess and to practise descriptions. Two classes used modelling clay to make their favourite animals and the other two made collages.

I have even created an application for revising the animal vocabulary and shared it with our eTwinning partners. 

Feelings and Sizes

Since our last lesson was a success, I asked my pupils to bring modelling clay again and this time make different figures showing such feelings as happy or sad or such sizes as thin or fat:

School things

Since we'd already learned the school things and colours, I asked my pupils to bring modelling clay and make different school things for the others to guess. Most of them were very creative and patient to wait for their turn, but above all very excited.
