My Favourite Season

My favourite season is spring because it's warm and sunny.
Everything is green and there are a lot of flowers. I love walking in the park with my friends.
In the spring, I can wear T-shirts, trainers and shirts.
I like planting flowers in my garden. I can eat lettuce and strawberries in the spring.
I just love spring!

Family Matters

With a colleague from Greece, I started a project for 6-12-year-olds where they would explore their family relationships, using photographs, interviewing older family members, and things like that. Since February, the teachers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Turkey, UK and Ukraine have joined the project, and shared the activities done with their students.

Even my older students enjoyed the Kahoot quiz about family members.

In all gardens

One of the tasks of our eTwinning project A Bridge Across the World was to record a poem by Sophia de Mello Breyner and share the video with our partners. A few girls from my  Class VIII1 agreed to read the poem and in this way mark the centenary of the poet's birthday.

Mother's Day

My Class 3 students made some very creative cards for their mums this week. I shared with them a few verses to choose from and copy onto their cards.

At school, we organised an event called The Prettier Side of the Medal on Women's Day. Our students had the chance to meet several successful sports and other successful women in our area. Our young reporters also interviewed some of them.
