Big Wide World

This is one of those songs that you always return to. Or, that is the case with my group B of Class III2 students.

All groups of my youngest pupils just love this song, especially when they can sing about the food they like or don't like.

eTwinning Day

Different activities were organised for this year's eTwinning Day. One whole group of my Class III1 students coloured our part of the joint poster, the second students' meeting was organised where everyone saw the joint poster for the first time, different students worked on dictionaries in transnational mixed teams (some of the topics were: Values, School, Kindness, Shopping, Different dishes, Directions, Fruit and Vegetables, and Greetings),...

Acrostic Poem

Lara and Jovana found the next collaborative task in the Same Planet - Same Aim eTwinning project easy and fun. They were pretty inspired to add two lines starting with N (Now we're singing this happy song) and E (English is fun all day long) to what promised to be an interesting poem.

Sun is shining in the sky
And nature sings its hopeful song
My planet shines in my mind
Every day all the children say
Planet is my way
Learning English is full of magic
As it's like a wand makes us speak
Now we're singing this happy song
English is fun all day long
Time passed very fast
Students learned English on this path
And met new friends on the way.
My mind expanded while I was learning,
Enjoyed and used nice tools
Amazing moments we all shared
In online meetings with our schools.
Many activities we did in harmony.
Under the same sky in this project
New English words and sentences
Don't scare us now
Excellent works were created with collaboration
Remarkable progress did all the students in this project.
This was its main goal and object.
Have you imagined we would go so far?
English is more enjoyable with eTwinning project
Speaking with new other friends is great.
Amazing teachers we all have
Making all of us have a wonderful time.
Everybody in the project was like an angel
Speaking to them is lots of fun.
Knowing English is very pleasurable for us
Yeah, we took a long trip in English with great joy. Thanks to all.

What's on your bucket list?

One of the first eTwinning projects I decided to join with my new generation of Class 1 students this school year was the one aimed at 7-year-olds, and which would let them share their daily school life with their peers from Greece, Romania and Turkey.

They shared their wishes and we worked on the logo of the project. Some students wanted a dog or a horse, to drive a police car or F1, but there were others who wanted to visit other countries and travel the world.

Pairs of my students also coloured the letters from the project name which were added to our joint collage.

Later, we shared with our eTwinning friends different outdoor games, songs and stories.
All the activities were published in our e-book.
