Municipal Foreign Languages Competition 2009

Municipal Foreign Languages Competition took place on 28 February 2009. Two of my oldest students tried their best in completing the grammar test and good results followed.

The competitors were asked to:
- circle the correct option to complete the text,
- fill in the text by using the given word,
- find and correct the mistakes in sentences,
- use the active or passive voice of the verbs in brackets to complete the text,
- fill in the blanks with suitable words and
- write three Wh-questions for a sentence.

The Story of Santa Claus (play)

We had 4 performances of this play in 2 days, which is quite a lot, but the actors took it very well. They even tried to improve themselves every time. I couldn't tell who enjoyed the play more, the young actors or the audience. 

During the break between the performances, the audience sang some songs.

The Lost Lamp 2009 (play)

Since we had a lot of success with the same play last year, the actors were more relaxed this time. It was no problem to play it 4 times in 2 days. The audience enjoyed it as well.
