The Finger Family Song is probably the easiest way for children to learn family members.

But, I also used the music of another song, added the heroes from our book (Nanny Rose, Mr Smile, Mrs Smile, Liam and Lilly) and soon we started singing it at the beginning of all our lessons. The finger puppets turned out to be a success, too.
