Walking around Europe

Most of my Class 2 students are very creative, so, when I introduced them to our new eTwinning project and asked them to design their postcards showing the symbols of our hometown to send them to their friends in different countries in Europe, they put an extra effort to make them unique.
Their next task was to explore the map of Europe and find the countries their postcards were sent.

Then, I shared with them the stickers saying 'Talk to me' in the languages spoken around Europe. Their task was to use the key to find the name of the country where the language on their sticker is spoken, write it down, find the country on the map, colour it and draw the country's flag in their notebooks. It was a bit challenging, but a lot of fun, and they were proud when they completed their tasks.

But, nothing compares to their excitement when they met their friends from 7 different countries, greeted them and sang the well-known song 'If you're happy' with them.
