First of all, I'd like to welcome you to my blog. My intention's to make it a place for cherishing great memories of working with school children. Here you'll find some tips, projects done by my pupils, their essays and poems, video clips (I don't know if it's me, but my pupils really enjoy singing), and things that can be interesting and useful. In the Wild

I've recently introduced my Class 1 pupils to some wild animals in a playful way.

We began with an I Spy game, using colours to introduce animals that sound almost the same as in Serbian (giraffe, crocodile, zebra, tiger), and then gradually added others. Pupils drew the animals as best they could, while I sketched them on the board, and coloured them in their natural colours.

As usual, we ended with a lively song that included movements, bringing the lesson to a joyful close.
