Although her video isn't among the finalists, I'm glad she's made this step towards the change.
Hello,
My name's Lara and I come from Serbia.
Today, I'm going to talk to you about global issues. As you can see, here are some notes that I'm going to use to present my plan.
Air, nature or water pollution, climate change and waste everywhere; these global issues are all connected.
Firstly, they are all caused by none other than humans!
How?, you may ask. Well, as you know and can see here, humans build factories. Factories make smoke which pollutes the air. They also throw out all kinds of toxic fluids into the rivers. After that, rivers flow into the seas, and the seas into the oceans. What's more, we use the same water that WE polluted to water the plants and as a drink.
Secondly, global issues cause numerous species to become endangered. Not to mention all kinds of diseases of both humans and animals.
One solution to these problems would be to put filters in factories so that they can clean the smoke before it goes into the atmosphere.
Another solution would be to build special pools that will clean the water before it goes into the rivers. If factories don't want to abide by these rules, then they should pay fines. If that doesn't help, then we should simply close the factories.
I hope that if we stick to it, we'll have a better, cleaner and greener planet.
