One of the activities in our Pippi project was to organise a tea party. To make it both creative and fun I asked one group of Class 1.2 students to bring toilet paper rolls and colourful paper. They got very serious and made tea cups in no time.
First of all, I'd like to welcome you to my blog. My intention's to make it a place for cherishing great memories of working with school children. Here you'll find some tips, projects done by my pupils, their essays and poems, video clips (I don't know if it's me, but my pupils really enjoy singing), and things that can be interesting and useful. All the photos, videos and pupils' work are published with permission. All media are either original, free for use, or include credit to the source.

My Favourite Day
Which is your favourite day of the week?
What time do you get up?
What do you do in the morning / afternoon / evening?
What time do you go to bed?
Why is it your favourite day?
You can use the following game as the example.
It is my favourite day because I do many activities. I love Saturdays!
I like Friday because the weekend starts then.
Sunday is my favorite day because I am free and do what I want.
My favorite day is Friday just because the weekend follows right after. Then I have time to do what I want.
Saturday is my favourite day of the week because I have the most time for myself. 😀
In the evening I watch a film with my family. I also chat with my friends. I go to bed around eleven.
Sunday is my favourite day because I can get up late and I can meet my friends.
I love Saturday because I have no obligations and because I am relaxed.
Usually on Saturdays I sleep a little longer. Later I play games, and then I arrange with my friends to go to football or someone comes to me to sleep over. Sometimes when my friends can't come, I play with my cousin. I play Sony or I play some good movie and I make sure to take snacks and relax completely. That's why I love Saturday.
Sunday is my favourite day because I don't go to school and I am with my family.
I get up and have breakfast and a cup of tea. In the afternoon, I have lunch with some juice. After lunch I go to the pet shop, park, supermarket... At 4 o'clock I go home and watch Netflix. In the evening I have dinner. I go to bed at half past 10.
Saturday is my favourite day because I have enough time to do everything I like.

My Perfect Bedroom
Describe your perfect bedroom. You can include a drawing.
My bedroom is big. It has a strange chair that looks like an alien. I have a ladder that I can climb and get onto a small floor where my bed is. It has a desk, a cupboard, a lamp, small shelves, a couple of stuffed toys and a plant.
Anja Makivić, V1
My perfect bedroom is in the colours of the universe. It has got super fast lights and you have a feeling like you are travelling as fast as light. It is so dynamic that you cannot relax there. It is pretty uncomfortable for the others, but just perfect for me.
Luka Stajić, V1

In the corner of the room there is a small white desk next to the school desk. The TV is black with blue dots. The chairs are white, and I also have a lazy bag that is red, The carpet is also red.The bed is upstairs when it is warm, and downstairs when it is cold. I have one dark blue mattress in the corner by the TV. My room is big and full of toys. I mostly have stuffed toys. There is a chair in the elevator to keep from standing and a table if I'm carrying something from the outside is blue as the walls are, only darker. It's neither small nor big, it's enough for me because I don't need anything else.
Sara Stepanov, V2
My room is big and beautiful and occupies one part of the house. It is bright and spacious and has a poster of my favorite football player on the wall. In one part of the room there is my desk with an interesting lamp and a very interesting chair that rotates and can be lowered into a reclining position. In the second part I have a big TV and Sony where I play games and watch movies. I have a big ring on the door of the room where I throw the ball, and there is a football goal nearby that serves me for training. I also have table football in my room, one of my favorite pastimes when my friends come. I love my room because it is special, beautiful and I feel comfortable in it. And it's nice for my friends when they come to me.
Dušan Grbić, V2
